The Baseball Bat is a blunt-type melee weapon that can be found when searching certain locations, or by crafting it in the armoury. It is a melee weapon that requires 6 strength, and has a good chance to cause bleeding. However, its melee damage is quite poor in comparison to other weapons.

This makes the Baseball Bat good at the early and mid game, but should either be upgraded or recycled, when closer to the late game. As with most weapons, it is fairly good gainst animals. Animals' relatively low strength and dexterity allows the Baseball Bat to easily take them on. However, later on, the Baseball Bat becomes mostly useless as its damage is too poor to keep up with other weapons, such as its upgrade weapon, the bladed baseball bat.
